Born in Washington D.C.<\/em>, Alesia Michelle began her journey channeling her city energy through dance and playing the piano. After moving to Virginia Beach with her mother, Alesia began performing with the esteemed Hurrah Players of Norfolk,Virginia.<\/em> From Gertrude McFuzz<\/em>, to Frenchy in Grease<\/em>,\u00a0Alesia\u00a0continued to blossom as an entertainer.<\/p>\n

In 2006,\u00a0Alesia\u00a0performed \u201cDancing in the Street\u201d at the historically acclaimed Apollo Theater<\/strong> in Harlem, New York<\/em>, and then went on to perform in musicals with\u00a0 Hampton University’s Hampton Players as Sandy (Grease)<\/em>, Lorrell (Dreamgirls)<\/em><\/a>, Mia (A Love To Call My Own)<\/em><\/a>. She then transitioned to performing on the MS Carnival Imagination with Carnival Cruise Lines<\/strong> in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n

While attending Hampton University<\/strong> with a major in Broadcast Journalism, Alesia learned the art of traditional media and the evolving digital media market. Continuing this love of communications after graduation, she went on to spearhead digital media strategy and communications in the advocacy space at Community Change and Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families. She also worked as an on-air radio host with Entercom and Cumulus Broadcasting.<\/p>\n

Not one to sit down, Alesia hosts events, video blogs, and writes regularly <\/span>about the <\/span>Eurovision Song Contest\u2014check out her<\/span>\u00a0her YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n
